Abandon my blog for almost a century,
it's time to update my journey.

Went to Chiang Mai for a short getaway with my partner in crime, Lisa.😜😜
It's always fun and exciting to travel with her!

It's sort of a random trip, even though we've bought our tickets since last year.
But we never really planed it out. [maybe it'sonly me who did not plan anything? hahaha]
Anyway she did put in some efforts in planning the itinerary, whereas i feel kinda guilty as i really don't have much time to assist her.
I'm sorry my dear!

Okay.... ignore all the crap.
This trip is mainly about visiting cafes.
I was quite surprised that there are cafes everywhere in Chiang Mai!
Couldn't say everywhere but I can always find one by my side whenever i feel like taking a break from a walk.

The Barn: Eatery Design

is one of the unique cafe which I enjoyed in Chiang Mai.

The environment of the cafe is just sooooooooo pretty and cozy.
It's a glass house in a small garden.😍😍
like country style kinda cafe.

The environment of the cafe

it actually looks like a greenhouse. hahahahah

The side door to enter the small garden

The main entrance of the cafe

This kiddo occupied my seat 😹😹😹 meow meow!

I didn't order much food because I had my lunch before I came here.
But the dish below is one of their signature dishes
and it only cost me 690 baht which is around RM 8.XX for this korean bbq mini chicken drumsticks
SOOOOO CHEAP & TASTY!!
😱😱😱
This dish can cost me around RM15 minimum in KL!!!

And I forgot to capture the drinks, hahha too much joy until I forgot everything

The Small Garden

Here is the small garden of the cafe.
But the weather was pretty hot there, so I  never had a chance to sit there as I am afraid I will melt when I leeave the comfort of air conditioner for too long 😂😂😂

And here is the entrance of the place,
it is so country style and I am totally fall in love with this place
my gawht!!

The only imperfection here is the place is quite pack as you can see inside my photo that there are lots of people chilling there, luckily they are not that talkative and the place is still able to remain cozy and silent.

If you are going to visit Chiang Mai soon,
never forget to pay a visit to this place.
xoxo.

Cafe Review: The BARN, Eatery & Design, Chiang Mai

If you ever read my blog before,
you will notice that I'm currently addicted to calligraphy.

It's always a challenge for me to look for suitable
and affordable materials to improve my calligraphy skill.

Besides that, due to my work, I do not have much time to shop for art supplies.
You might be wondering now, 'what 'bout weekends?'
and yeah i'm going back to my hometown every Friday after work...
So what do you think huh? haha

But now, I'm lucky enough as I found AnArt Store!
They offer high quality art supplies at affordable price range.
"Friendly, Simple, Convenient, Affordable" perfectly sum up their brand!

The overall packaging of the parcel i received from them is pretty simple and vintage feeling.

Here are some stuffs that i received from the AnArt Store:
An Unipin Pigment Ink Pen
STA Color Marker (I have 5 of them!)
A Lovely Sketch Book (Medium Size)
A Tools Scroll Pouch (Beige Colour)

Here are some masterpieces from me using what I got from AnArt Store
*** by the way, i'm lacking of practice these days and my masterpieces don't really look nice.
Hope you guys don't mind! HAHAHA***

A post shared by Danielle (@pooiyannnnnn) on

Currently I have only these work to show. Recently, a lot of shitty things happened
which was halting me from blogging as well as practicing my calligraphy.

Don't wanna spread any negative vibe here,
so I have to stop here 😀

But for sure I will update more in the future about calligraphy by using tools from my favourites store 💓💓

If you need more info or wanna purchase any item from AnArt Store,
please do not hesitate to visit the link below!

Not sure whether you guys excited about this blog post,
but hell yeah, I'm so excited to write about it! :)
been dragged for so long to write about it, so finally its here.

This post mainly share about one of the cafes I've visited
that is so unforgettable for me.
if you've had read my FB post before,
for sure you must have some ideas about it! :d

Sundays, Bangkok

The menu of the cafe.
I LOVEEEEEE the logo!
It's just soooo me XD

Beverages that me and my friend ordered:

Espresso Lime Tonic

Ice cold Tonic goes well with freshly squeezed lime,
juicy pulp and all, topped with a full flavored espresso shot.
freshness with some bitter taste!
you can decide the amount of espresso you wanna add in.

Americano a.k.a. black coffee a.k.a. long black

Just something i can't live without in my daily life.
It's much thicker in the coffee taste and smell compare to other retail coffee shop.

Sea Salt Hot Chocolate

dayummmm son!
It is the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted before!!
It's really rich, thick and creamy, like it's being made from the real chocolate bar instead of chocolate powder. *yum yum*

Main courses of the day:

Giant Kanompang Naa Moo
** The Sundays' Signature**

MAN!! Never ever miss out this dish when you are there in future maybe? hahha
It's a combination of pickled cucumber, pork and shrimp seasoned with Thai herbs on crispy toast.
You can't imagine how it taste like, words can't describe the deliciousness,
**recommended to eat with the provided pickled chilies and onions.**
It looks kinda oily but it's not at all when you bite together with pickled cucumber provided.
I Love this so so much!!

Smoked Salmon On Toast

Smoked salmon with greek yogurt cream on sourdough toast.
Taste light and clean, overall of the dish taste so delicious and refreshing.

It's DESSERT Time!!!!
Poppy Seed Scone

The round buttery scone has a warm crispy outer layer with soft delicate texture inside, of course some poppy seeds which really surprise me alot!

The combination of Homemade Strawberry Jam and thick cream with a touch of mascapone
are super matching combination ever!
You gonna taste the sweetness and sour at the same time!
It is my favorite!!!

Too much pictures to show, haha click the picture to view bigger image 😚😚😚

The environment of ground floor of the café

The Cashier

The second floor of the cafe

Silly me HAHA

The Garden view of the cafe

Me and the staff capture photo in front of the cafe!

All I can describe about the environment is AMAZING!

How I wish I can bring you here. Whenever I visit an amazing place I think of you.

Hope y'all enjoy reading my blog!
Have a good night peeps 😘
